Klaveness supports Norwegian rowers ahead of Rio 2016
Klaveness are proud to support Norwegian elite rowers Kristoffer Brun and Are Strandli, competing in the men’s lightweight double sculls and representing Norway in this year’s Summer Olympics in Rio.
They have been part of the national team since 2009, where they had part time jobs beside their athletic careers. Their biggest achievement so far was in 2013 when they became world champions. Since then they have been cementing their position among the world elite with bronze medals in the last two world championships.
With the support from Klaveness the last years they are now able to focus all their effort toward this year’s big goal; Olympic Games in Rio, were they are claimed to be one of the biggest Norwegian gold medal hopes.
Kristoffer and Are represent individual strengths combined with strong teamwork which is a big inspiration for all of us in Torvald Klaveness. We share the same view on values such as commitment and craftsmanship in order to continuously improve.
We wish the two young gold medal hopes the best of luck in their preparations towards this year’s big goal, and hope we can continue to inspire each other along the way.
