Torvald Klaveness announces Lasse Kristoffersen to depart as CEO June 1st, 2022
Lasse Kristoffersen, who has pioneered Klaveness’ transformation since 2011 as President and CEO, has decided to depart the company June 1st, 2022
The Board of Directors will immediately begin the process of identifying a new CEO to ensure a smooth transition

Oslo, 29th November 2021: Torvald Klaveness today announces that President and CEO Lasse Kristoffersen, who has pioneered the company’s transformation since 2011, has decided to depart the company from June 1st, 2022 and begins as CEO of Wallenius Wilhelmsen. The Board of Directors will immediately begin the process of identifying a new CEO to ensure a smooth transition.
Under Kristoffersen’s leadership, Klaveness was steered into a new era of strategic growth fueled by passionate digitalization and decarbonization ambitions. At the same time, Kristoffersen created a robust organization built on diversifying the product and service portfolio, restructuring the Klaveness business units, and creating a strong company culture built on a clear vision and values.
