An initiative developed by a multi-stakeholder task force convened by the Getting to Zero Coalition with members from the entire maritime ecosystem including shipping, chartering, finance, ports, and fuel production.

In recognizing the shared responsibility to resolve the crew change crisis amidst Covid-19, together with more than 850 companies and organizations we have committed to supporting this initiative.

Since then it has grown to include over 140 member companies. MACN is a mission driven not for profit organization established by the maritime industry to tackle corruption in the maritime industry.

A trade and employment organization for Norwegian controlled companies within the shipping and offshore industry. The primary fields are national and international industry policies, employer issues, competence and recruitment, environmental issues and innovation in addition to safety at sea.

This Centre for Research-based Innovation (SFI) is led by Marintek, and the project will have a duration of eight years (2015 – 2023) with a mission to create innovations securing sustainability and competitiveness of the maritime transport sector.
