With a proven track record spanning 75 years and with a wealth of knowledge acquired on the journey, we believe in collaboration and consistently aim to live up to the Klaveness group vision to ‘improve the nature of shipping’. Innovation is in our DNA, and we refuse to simply work within market boundaries. The platform incorporates three core modules Pre-Vetting, Port Predictor and Freight Optimizer, enabling its customers to drive new value to the topline and make better informed decisions to navigate shipping markets.
Baumarine by MaruKlav
Klaveness is the pioneer in pools, from designing the first-ever concept in 1963 and through 60 years of successful operations.
We currently serve Panamax, Kamsarmax and Post Panamax ship owners through the Baumarine pool. In 2020 we joined forces with major Japanese trading house Marubeni to operate the world’s largest dry bulk Panamax pool.
